Our tradition, our present

In 2006, the Hacienda del Carche Winery was set up by a family with a long tradition in winemaking. The winery aims to satisfy the palates of consumers of the D.O. Jumilla wine. Our winery, with its vines and olive trees, boasts an ideal setting near the Sierra del Carche, a Protected Nature Park.

Our winery

Our winery has been built along modern lines and with noble materials, such as Villamayor natural stone, marble and wood. These materials have been combined to maintain the year-round interior temperature that is ideal for the production of wines of unmistakable personality.

Our land

The soils here are rust-coloured and limy, with a great water capacity and medium permeability. The area has a continental climate, influenced by the proximity of the Mediterranean, and is a sunny and dry place, where the sun shines 3,000 hours a year and rain is scant. The conditions here are perfect for growing the Monastrell grape variety.

Visits

When you visit us, you will find yourself enveloped in the magic of the vineyard and its wines. During your visit, you can find out about the history of winemaking, take a walk around the vineyard itself, see how wine is made, and visit the cellars where our wines are left to age. And to top it all off, you can taste our wines and buy some to take home with you.
